Yet despite their absolute loyalty to the Golden Throne, the entire chapter harbors a dark secret that stains the honor of their chapter to this day: there exists heretic "Fallen Angels" brothers who turned traitor and joined the forces of Chaos during the Horus Heresy and now blaspheme the Emperor with their very existence. Wearing enough armor and packing enough weaponry to be considered walking tanks, Brothers who distinguish themselves in their infantry roles are bestowed one of their Chapter's greatest pieces of tech: the Terminator Armor. Able to withstand everything from small arms fire to high impact tank shells, the built-in teleportation technology allows these Brothers to "deep strike" enemy fortifications and strongholds with shocking results.
