It had a purpose and can serve well but there were many issues that I ran into from not having the parts being able to join correctly to the connecting leg joint to the j4 joint breaking apart after struggling to get it in. Once things are loose it just won't properly work as a metal frame build. There are people who accomplished the build but to anyone buying this, you just need to be wary so some pre conjoined parts don't fall apart
