Astro Boy, or also known as Mighty Atom, is the main character in the Astro Boy franchise. Created by the scientist, Umataro Tenma, Astro is a male robot with human emotions made in the image of Umataro’s deceased son, Tobio. Astro has a strong sense of justice and a willingness to defend those who cannot defend themselves, making him the embodiment of what a hero is.
